Kathy Phillips and her Sons
Cole age 11 and Reece age 9
Kathy has been a member of the Simmons Center since January, 1990,
opening day!! Kathy also was an employee of the Simmons Center
and worked as a lifeguard from 1989-1991. Keeping it in the family
her dad, Ralph Cole, was also a lifeguard. They both trained here and
helped organize Simmons Center's first triathlon. She also competed
in 2 of Simmons Center/Duncan Regional Hospital indoor triathlons.
"The Body Sculpt and Pilate's class at the SC are my favorite classes
and the Instructors are amazing! I also enjoy using the track, the pool
and cardio room/weight room. The Simmons Center is where I
learned to play Racquetball".
Along with her boys they enjoy attending the youth BB games
watching her niece and nephews play basketball. Her two boys Cole &
Reece grew up here attening Mother's Day Out, Simmons Center
Summer Camps, Parent's Night Out and Cole's favorite Kid's Extreme
Fun Days!! Ms. Lori was the only "babysitter" her boys ever had. Cole
is now a member of the Simmons Center Sharks Swim Team. "All the
kids programs are really amazing and my boys always loved them".
She claims not to have been able to survive the "toddler years"
without the Nursery and the Exploration Station.
"My family has truly enjoyed the Simmons Center and it is
a great place to meet friends and stay active".
