Joiner Fee:
Anyone wishing to become a member of the Simmons Center is assessed a $35 joiner fee when they join the facility, regardless of previous membership. Membership cards are issued after the fee is collected.

Duncan Middle School Semester Pass - $85

This pass is for Duncan Middle School students only that are not currently Simmons Center members. Those students in grades 6, 7 and 8 can purchase this membership only during the first semester and second semester of the school year. Dates are: August 12th thru December 31st, 2010 and January 3rd thru May 19th, 2011. The Joiner Fee will not be charged when purchased during the Joiner Fee specials. Anytime after that the $35 will be included when signing up.

Temporary Memberships:
Visitors to the Center may gain access to the facility's recreation amenities by purchasing daily, weekly or monthly passes for the following:

This program is designed to provide area companies the opportunity to offer important wellness and quality of life benefits to their employees at a reduced charge. Consider the returns you will receive in higher productivity, reduced absenteeism, reduced health care costs and higher morale.

Eligibility Requirements:

A corporate membership requires a minimum of 5 participating employees to qualify. The business pays Simmons Center $1 per month for all eligible employees and assumes responsibility for all employee payments through payroll deduction. The business makes one payment to the Center monthly. This payment includes the total membership payment and the dollar eligibility fee. A $35 joiner fee is assessed to all new members regardless of previous membership type. All corporate memberships sign up at the Simmons Center by paying 1st month membership plus joiner. Payroll deduction will begin the following month.

Benefits for Your Corporation:
The below benefits are available to any corporation participating in the Simmons Center Corporate Membership Program. The only requirement to accessing these benefits is that a minimum of 5 employees must participate in Simmons Center membership via payroll deduction and the company must be current in their membership and corporate eligibility payments.

1) Let Simmons Center join with you in hosting honored guests and clients of your company in town for a short visit. Simmons Center is pleased to offer qualifying corporations' free guest passes based upon total eligible employees.

a)Passes are given annually on January 1st and must be used by December 31st. They are not cumulative from year to year.

b) Passes are made available for guest visiting the area such as auditors, etc. They are not to be utilized for group bookings.

c) Passes are good for one day visits only.

d) Passes require advance verbal authorization from company president or authorized representative to Membership Services Manager.

2) Annual Luncheon for CEO/President and Payroll/HR contact with explanation of benefits of corporate membership.

3) Annual on site employee motivation and wellness education upon request and scheduling.

4) Discounts on room rental for events held in the Jack A. Maurer Convention Center and Simmons Center Theater. Contact our Event Services Manager at 252-2900 ext. 236

5) Discounts on day passes for group visits associated with convention center rental.

In order to increase participation levels within each corporation, for one week each year, each corporate will receive free access to the recreation facilities for their employees and families. During this week, based on traffic and space availability, at your request Simmons Center will assist your team captains in organizing inter-company team building competitions in basketball, swimming, volleyball, or wallyball. Also during this week, we will offer free aerobics and aquatics passes to companies in order to allow non-participants to try them on for size..

7) Discounts on gym, court, and pool rentals for inter-company tournaments/competitions and associated practices. (Based upon space availability.) Referee and scorekeeper service available at additional fee.
