A state of the art Cybex equipped weight room with free weights. The cardio room is equipped with treadmills, elliptical machines, spinner bikes, rowing machine, and stair masters. Ages 16 and older or L.I.F.T. pass holder (see details below)
Weight Room Training
Need to learn a little more about the weight/cardio room? We have just the ticket.
Training days are scheduled each Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. and Thursday 6-7 p.m.

L.I.F.T. (Lifting is for Teens)
This class is designed for children 12-15 years to promote and provide a safe and instructional training in the weight/cardio room. Upon successful completion, teens will be allowed unsupervised access to the weight/cardio room.
L.I.F.T. badges must be worn and visible at all times.
Non-marking athletic shoes are required (no flip-flops or sandals).
Register at the front desk no later than 9 p.m. on the day prior
to the scheduled class.
A minimum of 4 children
required for class to be held.
Must be a Simmons Center member.
Cost is $15 per child.
Scheduled Classes meet at 1 PM in the Recreation Center Lobby.
